tapestry-samplerThis is an unfinished sampler I started lots of years ago, got to the circle  at the top and there it stopped.  I suppose I was having trouble with it and put it aside.   Now that I have it out and I have done a few other tapestry projects since, I have good intentions to make it a Finished Project.

The sampler pattern is from the book Flemish weaving; a guide to tapestry technique, by Gertrud Ingers.  I used a 10/2 Linen warp, and Lemieux Beauceronne 2 ply wool weft.   I have a small wooden tapestry frame loom, but have always wanted to try making an Archie Brennan copper pipe loom.  The patterns for various ones are at at  the following website and are free.
