Studio Space

September 9, 2009

The last few days have been furniture and loom moving  days.  It is never just a matter of moving the pieces, but re-arranging everything, and finding  new new situations for it all (never mind the cleaning because there is the inevitable dust behind large pieces of furniture)    The  loom now has a better position, the sunroom  can now take the large plants that won’t survive a winter outdoors.  I have been arranging the new space to suit looms, easel, a work-table and computer table.   In order to move the loom into this room we had to remove one foot, the support for the back beams and then the sandpaper beam.  The door was both narrow and deep so it was impossible to maneouvre it through intact.

Now that I have the space to work I had better begin!
