Handspun, handwoven Linen

A small piece of  twill fabric handwoven by my grandmother using her handspun linen.

    What a special piece of fabric!

    The effort it used to take to make cloth is astounding.

    PS: And, of course, the effort it takes me to weave cloth is still astounding! So slow and confused sometimes!

    Beautiful! And how old is it? Looks to be in amazing condition. I can’t imagine spinning flax.
