Oh you just slipped in with those and it was so worth the wait. Super photos. Is that a grouse of some variety? Was the rainbow shot this past weekend? Hope you guys got some much needed moisture too.

Oh, your flower pictures are just beautiful, as always – How did you sneak up on the grouse?

Those plums look like you could just reach out and pluck one out of the bowl. Great job with August! T.

    Great photos, as always!

I’m curious about the bird too. I’m just heading home from vacation in the Rockies and I have many birds that I still need to ID from photos.

Love the first sunflower photo. Makes me want to climb right into that picture with the bee!

Thanks for sharing your August colors!

I think it is probably a Blue Grouse. There were two on the path just a few yards away from me – they barely moved while I photographed. But the light wasn’t very good so pic. is a bit blurry.

I’m viewing these with the background of yipping coyotes this evening. Appropriate music for such lovely nature photos.

Beautiful photography and gorgeous colors! I’m not sure if we have grouse around. Interesting bird.

Your photos are lovely. I dabble in doing flowers as well. I can appreciate the level of difficulty to get such fresh color. Thanks for sharing.
